1. Dual-fixture, three-station design: while one fixture is fastening, the other fixture is used for assembly work.

2. Long-stroke Z axis, able to handle cabinet modules of various thicknesses.

3. Program storage expanded to 1,000 programs.

4. Camera-assisted point alignment for fast and accurate positioning.

5. Equipped with one screw feeder using blow feeding and vacuum-pick fastening, which avoids the inefficiency of long-travel repeated screw pick-up.

Fastening Process

As illustrated, the machine has three working zones. Station 2 is the fastening area, while stations 1 and 3 are used for cabinet assembly and transfer. The operator first completes cabinet assembly at station 3 and then operates the pneumatic clamping valve to clamp the cabinet. When the start button is pressed, the fixture assembly moves to the left so that the right fixture reaches station 2 for screw fastening. At the same time the operator can assemble the next cabinet on the left fixture at station 1. After fastening, the fixture assembly moves back to the right, bringing the finished cabinet to station 3, where the operator removes it and places a new module and cabinet. Meanwhile station 2 starts fastening the cabinet on the left fixture. The cycle repeats so that one cabinet is always being fastened, which maximises efficiency.
